Diapering Mamas Cloth - HELP! Layers of night ...?
Hi, I just started cloth diapers last week and I'm so excited (read: obsessed lol). However, my baby seems more comfortable in the disposable. Maybe I'm imagining? I do not know. I thought it would be more comfortable fabric. Your baby is more at ease in the fabric? I know that I prefer cloth over disposables, but I want it comfortable. I use organic cotton and bamboo velvet, and I change it often. At night I use a pastry bag or fleece topper with a soaker wool to keep moisture away from skin, but my layers are so large at night. Since the size of a cantaloupe:-P. I do not know - maybe it is simply not used because it is so new (it is 5 months old). I really want full-time cloth diapers, but I hate what he can not even move with the bulk layers at night. And the covers over his FITTED all seem to leave red marks 
. Advice? I need help Thank you.
Cloth Diapers I have been my son for some time now and I have a few pieces of advice:) For one I love CD's! And I think my son loves them too! And you do get used to the clutter of all this and you do not even notice it more. Night ... Who cares if layer is cumbersome?? Is it not better to have your son to wake dry? I only use pocket diapers (Happy Heiny size) and at night I use an insert made of hemp fleece insert a full size oval and hemp small (sometimes 2 if oval had a lot to drink right before to sleep). After sleeping for 11 + hours, my boy wakes up with a bum dry and no red mark. So you might want to try a pouch night:) As for the movement / size ... it will be better to move! Stay with it! I promise you will not regret it! Good luck!
