Need color ideas to go with a red sofa?
This is yet another issue red couch! We have a red leather (red Dark cranberry) sofa, loveseat, chair and ottomon. We just love them! We just bought a house and I'm trying to decide on a color the wall. I read all the answers to similar questions, but I have a slight twist of my own ... I make quilts and use them as art on the walls. Not the old grandmother type quilts, but bright, colorful, modern quilts. I must take this into consideration before choosing a color. My quilts have pure bright colors like red, yellow, turquoise, teal, gold, lime green, orange, purple, you get the picture. I sick of the flat white walls! And also my husband hates green, but I like it and I have the last word:) Right now I am leaning towards maybe a brown chocolate or beige with an accent wall in red. Or in a dark gold. Oh, I do not know! Please help, ideas would be great!
I have your room on the picture in my mind, and I think using a coffee-colored would be the best backdrop of quilts. Because they are works of art, we want them to be improved and I think anything other than a room a neutral color would take away. You can also make an accent wall in red and latte (between chocolate brown and beige) scratch and it would add a modern touch to the room.
