Bunny owners? Anyone? Help!?
Ok so we found a rabbit and we look for the owner to appeal because we Flyer up. if nobody claims it, then we give it to my moms friend owns a farm. Today he slept in a large Tote with blankets and ate 2 sticks of celery and a handful of cat food and water dish. Tonight it is gonna stay with us so what I do that I cover the tote with a blanket or what? And what can I eat? And is there a lot of heat? Please do not suggest not to take it to the vet because he is not sick and it is certainly a bunny rabbit house he is black and soft fat. So please help. Here is a picture of what it looks like. first of all rabbits can not eat cat food, you will get sick, they need rabbit pellets who are really reasonable at your local pet store pick up. Second call around your local shelters and see if someone has lost a rabbit. Rabbits are really difficult to treat, and require much care, you can offer him one of the following: 1.) cutting the apples 2.) Cut the pears 3.) Leaf vegetables dark green like kale or spinach 4.) Pineapple-rabbits get fur balls, like cats, which helps digestion. 5.) Timothy Hay Rabbits yes need to be hot, they are very vulnerable to respiratory infections that can cause pneumonia, rabbits often times do not recover Not once have they had one of these diseases. They need fresh water daily and a place to play or exercise, please take someone whose familiar with rabbits.
