Looking desperately name on a painting ... is at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. HELP PLEASE!?
So I saw this painting when I was at Philadelphia Museum of Art last April. I went back and tried to search the title, but found nothing. The last time I was at the museum, I was there for the modern art section, but was running around Research of this painting before they close and never found. It's called Daydreamer or dreams or something like that. He has two women in white dresses, sitting under a tree, one of them old, one young. Young is picking petals off a flower that sits on his lap. It is a painting 19th century, I think. Any ideas, anyone?
It's called Day Dreams, by Sir George Clausen. Painted in 1883, oil on canvas. You can find photos of it via google images, but good luck to have the show on the page of the Philadelphia Museum. I have never seen such a screwed up search function which returns all kinds of things except what you are looking for. Anyway. Hope that helps!
