Can I paint finished furniture with black paint to light cream color after sanding it?
I have a wooden bed, table bed, a dresser with a glossy black finish on them. I want to change the color of it and make it lighter. I thought maybe a light and creamy Beige would be good. What do you think? And if I polished the furniture before I painted, do you think I could paint the black furniture a lighter color with a good result? Thank you.
Sure. Simply use a good introduction before your base coat. Maybe even two coats of primer so that the black does not show through.
