how to was a juicy couture daydreamer ribbon?
My juicy couture daydreamer bag ribbon is filthy...its black and tan can anyone tell me how to thoughly wash it?
The ribbon is made of a polyester satin (I know. For as much as you paid for that bag, they should use silk satin at least.) Run some warm water in the sink, add some Ivory dishwashing soap, and let the ribbon soak. After the water's cooled, let it out, run in more warm water, add more soap, and, this time, rub any spots that are left on the ribbon. Rinse it with more warm water, until the water runs clear. Smooth it out -- the best thing is to lay it on a towel along a counter if you've got a counter long enough. Let it dry. If needed, iron it a little with a warm iron. Then thread it back through, tie a nice bow, and wash it sooner next time. Don't let it get that dirty again -- it drags down the entire bag and makes it look like a cheap knockoff.
